Not a ton to report today. We made our way up and out of Sonora Pass and into the Carson-Iceberg Wilderness. The views were fantastic. We saw a dead songbird right on the trail, which was odd but fascinating. I flossed while hiking for the first time ever (it’s a good idea), and we hiked a decent amount of miles. We drank yellowish water at our campsite that tasted surprisingly good, and we got rained on while we were setting up our tent (what’s new). All in all, it was a good day, even despite the rain.
